Ella Wilson grew up on the Yorkshire moors in England and moved to New York in 2002, where she currently works as head writer and creative director of the advertising agency Dead As We Know It. She has been writing nonfiction for the past ten years and received her MFA from The New School in May 2009. Ella has completed a collection of personal essays titled, Existentially Challenged: A Merry Romp Through Illness, Depression and Death. Her personal essays have been published by Literary Hub, Literal Latte as well as in the anthologies Show Me All Your Scars, Same Time Next Week, Mamas and Papas - On the Sublime and Heartbreaking Art of Parenting, and Birth Ambassadors. She has published short stories with Knuthouse Press. She currently lives with her husband and two daughters in Brooklyn.
